Parental Control that blocks unwanted programs and Websites
 
Getting started with Ez Parental Control
 
When you run Ez Parental Control, you will see a small globe icon in the System Notification area

You can access context menu by right clicking on the Ez Parental Control icon:

There you can open Main form or exit Ez Parental Control.
Or just double click the icon to open the main form:

Ez Parental Control Interface
There are three main parts of the Ez Parental Control:

Programs
Tool that helps you to control what programs to run and what programs to block from running on your computer.
Also, you can get extra information about programs and processes running on your PC: Company that created the software, Process details and physical location of this program on your computer.

Web sites
Here you can indicate what websites a user can browse and what websites to restrict from accessing on a PC.
You can block websites by Url or by entering a mask key word, for example you can block any website having the word "porn" in its name. You can even block search engines from returning inappropriate websites list.

History
This tool can be used to determine what websites a user visited and what programs the user executed on the computer. You can set Ez Parental Control to automatically send a report to you by email at a pre-selected time.
 
Programs
Here the two tabs:
"Available" - this tab shows a list of programs that is installed on your computer:

You can filter the view by selecting what programs to show: all installed programs, currently active or the programs that are installed but not running at this moment.

"Blocked" - this tab shows a list of programs that are blocked (blacklisted programs):

How to block programs?
Select a program you wish to block by checking "block" checkbox.
Then click green check button to add selected programs to a black list:

If a program not shown in the list, you can add it manually by clicking the browse button:

You can activate lock by clicking "Activate" button or temporarily allow to execute blacklisted programs by clicking "Deactivate" button:

Remove Programs from Black list
Go to "Blocked" tab, select program that you want to remove from blocked programs list and click green button:

Web sites

To add a website to a blocked list, use "add" button:

it will open "Add Url to Black List" form:

Select "Url" to add website name (Url) to be blocked or select "keyword" to add mask word like "porn" or "nude" to block any website that has this word in its name.
 
To remove a website from the blacklist - use "remove" button:

Also you can temporary allow restricted websites by clicking "deactivate" button:

History
Ez Parental Control Help Screen 16
To see the history of programs executed and websites visited - select "History".
Additional options  are available from a context menu.
Right click on selected website or program to call up the context menu
If you selected website, with context menu you can open selected Url in web browser or add it to the black list.
If you selected a program, you can view where the program is located on your computer or add it to the blocked software list.
To refresh the report use "Refresh" button:

To clear the history - use "Clear" button:

You can also save history file by clicking on "Save history" button:

To open previously saved log file (history), use "Open saved log file" button:

Schedule to receive activity reports automatically
You can set Ez Parental control to send you history reports over email.
Go to "Settings" and select "Report Settings"

 this will open "Report Settings" form:

Enter your email settings here as well as report information: time and recipients email. Then click "Save".
Select "Log file generation" from the "Settings" menu:

to define how to split the history file (by size or by date):
